Child Protection and Safeguarding
Safeguarding Children at Amberley C of E Primary School
This school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
This means that we have Child Protection and Safeguarding Policies and procedures in place which we refer to on our website. All staff (including supply staff, volunteers and governors) must ensure that they are aware of these procedures.

Sometimes we may need to share information and work in partnership with other agencies when there are concerns about a child’s welfare. We will ensure that our concerns about our pupils are discussed with parents/carers first unless we have reason to believe that such a move would be contrary to the child’s welfare.
Our Federation Designated Safeguarding Lead for Children is Mrs Lizzie Martin
Our Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leads are Mrs Rebecca Westwood, Mr Paul Armitage and Mrs Nicky Kirby

Safeguarding and Child Protection is the responsibility of everyone in the Amberley C of E community; the worst thing that we can do is to do nothing.
Please do not hesitate to raise a concern, no matter how small you may feel that it is.
