School Council

Amberley C of E Primary School Council aim to meet at least once a half-term to discuss a range of issues. It is chaired by Mr. Armitage and often involves lively chat and ideas being shared!
The School Council aims to:
“Stop litter being thrown, litter picking around the school/litter picking around Amberley Village once a half-term, promote some more clubs and have some class pets.”
We have eco-councillors as well who will check and switch off lights and computers at playtimes and lunchtimes to help save power and protect the environment. We also have “litter-picking Fridays”, when children will use litter pickers to help clean up our school grounds.
We have 5 School Values already, but we have agreed 5 School Council Values, which are: FOCUS/HELP/COMMUNICATE/CARE/FRIENDSHIP.
