Lunches

Hot school meals are available for all children in years R-2 free of charge. They are provided by Chartwells and details of how to order are available in their pack or at https://westsussex.mealselector.co.uk/. Children in years 3-6 have to pay for their hot meal at a price of £2.25 per day. If you receive Income Support, Income-based Jobseekers Allowance, support under V1 of the Immigration & Asylum Act 1999, Pension Credit, Income-related Employment and Support Allowance or Child Tax Credit (with an assessed income below £16,190), then you will be entitled to claim free school meals whatever year group your child is in but you will need to fill in a form which is available at

 https://www.westsussex.gov.uk/education-children-and-families/schools-and-colleges/free-school-meals/

If your children do not want cooked meals they bring a packed lunch to school.  We have a healthy food policy and would ask that you do not include sweets or fizzy drinks in lunchboxes.

During warm weather it is advisable to put an ice pack in lunchboxes to help keep them fresh.

Because some of our pupils have an allergy to nuts we are a NUT FREE SCHOOL.  This means that any food item including nuts must not come into school because of the danger they pose to some of our pupils.  Thank you.
