Amberley School Enrichment Fund
The Fund was launched in 2010 to support Young Enterprise and other activities which enhance the delivery of the curriculum and are beyond the normal scope of school provision. The Fund is not intended to support individual children but funds projects of benefit either to all the children in the school or to a whole class. The Fund does not pay teachers at the school to provide activities but supports appropriate provision from external providers. All requests are made by the Head Teacher to the Chairman of the Governors who consults the Independent Assessor and the Finance and Premises Committee of the Governing Body. The Activities which the Fund supports:
- One Young Enterprise session for each class during the academic year.
- Extra activities which will enrich the children's experience in the following fields:
- The 'Arts' - music, drama, creative arts, dance
- Learning outside the classroom - The Rural Dimension
- Cultural awareness of life beyond Amberley
The school is very grateful for this support and the Governors hope very much that this generosity will continue in the coming year and in the future.
